After Eden enters the hands of readers

After Eden has officially left the safety of my desk and entered beta reading.

This dark romance follows Eva, a woman who escaped the religious community that raised her, and Cain, the man sent to bring her home. At its heart is a story about faith, control, desire, and what happens when the person you were taught to fear becomes the one person willing to burn everything down for you.

The manuscript is currently with beta readers, whose feedback will help shape the next revision before After Eden moves toward publication. Watching readers meet Eva, Cain, and the Garden for the first time has been equal parts exhilarating and terrifying—which probably means I’m doing this correctly.

For now, Eden is still growing. Just with considerably more thorns.

The poetry is coming home

August 2026

Four poetry collections are returning to my hands.

Contentment in the Shadows, Heretic Psalms: Liturgy of the Unkept, Unmarked Graves, and Gospel of a Falling Star began during an earlier chapter of my publishing journey. Now, I have the opportunity to revisit them on my own terms.

Rather than simply putting the old editions back into the world, I’m approaching each collection individually: returning to the manuscripts, reconsidering their presentation, creating new covers, and preparing them for independent publication under WordsbyMAllshouse.

Contentment in the Shadows will be the first to receive that attention. There is something strangely fitting about returning to the poetry that helped begin all of this with everything I have learned since.

Some work asks to be left behind. Some asks to be brought home and given another chance to become what it was always supposed to be.

Something is stirring on Ream

In Development

An old corner of my writing world may be waking up again.

I’m currently exploring the revival of my Ream presence and reconsidering what that space could become now that WordsbyMAllshouse has grown beyond what it was when I first created it.

Rather than simply reposting old material, I’m interested in building something worth returning to: a place for deeper looks behind the writing, serialized or exclusive work where it makes sense, conversations about craft and story, and a closer connection with readers who want to venture a little farther behind the page.

The foundation is still being rebuilt, and I’m taking my time deciding exactly what belongs there. But the door is opening again.
